a treat to see a.a. bondy again at the casbah a couple weeks ago! the only thing i could complain about...i wish bondy could play like a 24 hour straight show, give him a little break, and then another 24 hrs...over n over again...on the beach! :) last years background sea scene was close enough (vidz above). i feel real lucky when i get to see favorites play at this venue. we were so in the zone this time that we only recorded songs half way through. i'm just a bikini critic, but, i do appreciate magical, beauty, sounds that move like waves, hope, dreamy, guitar, and a raspy voice to top off. i remember reading what i think bondy himself said his album, 'when the devils loose,' "sounds like a radio washed ashore after a shipwreck.” a special soul to sound like this and he surfs! i'ma "bond-y" girl! check out more here and here.
